On 24 January, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) welcomed a group of 95 students from the Global Campus of Human Rights - EMA, European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratization.
EULEX’s Head of the Press and Public Information Office and Spokesperson, Ioanna Lachana, and the Head of EULEX’s Case Monitoring Unit, Hubert van Eck Koster, received the students together with their accompanying professors and gave a thorough presentation on the Mission’s mandate, challenges, and achievements in Kosovo.
The presentation generated a vivid debate with the students and the EULEX staff members were more than pleased to reply to various questions, including questions on how the Mission implements in practice a human rights-based approach.
The participants were also briefed about the Mission’s international internship programme, which is an exceptional opportunity for young graduates.
