EULEX Brings Its Mission Closer to Students from Over 40 Countries at Kosovo Summer Academy

In the months of July and August 2026, the Kosovo International Summer Academy 2026, welcomed almost 100 students from over 40 countries, offering interactive lectures from diplomats, high ranking officials, representatives of civic society and prestigious local and international organizations on various topics.

On 22 July and 12 August, respectively, Political Advisor Sara Barbieri and Acting Head of the Press and Public Information Office/Spokesperson Elisabetta Iurcev delivered insightful lectures on EULEX’s mandate in supporting Kosovo’s rule of law institutions on their path towards increased effectiveness, sustainability, multi-ethnicity and accountability, free from political interference and in full compliance with international human rights standards and best European practices.

These two lectures offered the participating students a space to explore and exchange different perspectives and gain knowledge about the role of EU civilian CSDP missions in helping partners strengthening stability, justice, the rule of law.
