On 2 and 3 July 2026 at Camp Vrelo, the Formed Police Unit of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) participated in the two-day joint exercise “Golden Sabre 2026” with NATO-led mission KFOR and the Kosovo Police, in line with Kosovo’s three-tiered security responder mechanism, where EULEX is the second security responder.

By training and coordinating together, we tested our readiness, strengthened our cooperation, and enhanced our ability to carry out joint crowd and riot control operations. This ensures EULEX remains prepared to support stability in Kosovo and contribute to the safety and security of all communities.
