A reliable blood supply is crucial for hospitals to effectively respond to emergencies and to care for patients who need continuous treatment.

On 23 March 2026, Polish members from the XXXVIII rotation of the Formed Police Unit (FPU) of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), together with soldiers from the LIII Polish Military Contingent of the NATO-led mission KFOR, participated in a voluntary blood donation campaign at the Clinical Hospital Centre in Mitrovica North: a reliable blood supply is indeed crucial for hospitals to effectively respond to emergencies and to care for patients who need continuous treatment.
