EULEX Mission Members engage with students from over 40 countries at the Kosovo International Summer Academy 2025

14 August

The Kosovo International Summer Academy 2025 welcomed 117 students from over 40 countries, offering a unique platform for learning, exchange, and dialogue. During the summer academy two European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo Members were invited to provide the participating students with a lecture on the Mission.

On the 18th of July, Elisabetta Iurcev, Press and Public Information Officer, delivered an engaging lecture on the Mission’s mandate, achievements, challenges, and communication and engagement with various audiences.

On the 14th of August, Sara Barbieri, Mission Analytical Capability Analyst, built on that discussion, adding broader insights into the work of our Mission and the ongoing support to Kosovo’s Rule of Law institutions and to EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Missions in general.

The participating students engaged in an energetic exchange, posing thoughtful questions and sharing fresh perspectives on the role of international missions in strengthening rule of law and stability.

EULEX thanks the Kosovo International Summer Academy for hosting the sessions and extends our appreciation to the students whose curiosity and active participation made this year’s lectures a memorable highlight of the programme.
