On the 8^th of August, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre of Kosovo, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) held the 17^th blood donation campaign.

As in previous campaigns, most recently in March 2025, EULEX Mission Members volunteered in donating blood, not as a symbolic gesture, but as a tangible contribution to help the real need within Kosovo’s healthcare system for blood supply. Hospitals rely on a consistent blood supply to treat patients in critical condition as well as those receiving long-term care.

This year, over 20 local and international Mission Members participated in the campaign, reaffirming our Mission’s commitment to saving lives and supporting communities in Kosovo.

While the impact of each donation may not always be visible in numbers, we know that every contribution can lead to a life being saved.

We value our continued partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Centre and remain dedicated to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference to the lives of the people of Kosovo.
