INTRODUCTORY GUIDELINES

Welcome to the Human Rights and Gender training section of the EULEX Training web site.
The information posted below aims to provide an overview of the relevant international human rights standards with a special emphasis on the CSDP documents developed mostly in the last couple of years.
Along with the universally recognized human rights standards, regional standards and CSDP specific documents, the site covers currently applicable law in Kosovo with relevance to the respect, promotion and protection of human rights in general. Furthermore, the area of equality between men and women, gender mainstreaming efforts and women’s rights represents a particular focus in the section.
This specialized section is a living tool which will be expanded and updated on a regular basis with the aim of preparing the EULEX Mission members to assume their duties in Kosovo in compliance with the highest human rights standards and best practices.
