Police Commander convicted

A panel of two EULEX judges and one local judge has found the Obiliq/Obilić Police Station Commander Sejdi Zeqiri guilty of two counts of sexual abuse, two counts of mistreatment (verbal insults and intimidation) whilst carrying out his duties, and one count of accepting bribes. He was sentenced to two years and four months of imprisonment. An additional punishment was issued prohibiting the commander from working in public administration or public service for three years.

The panel delivered their judgement on 7 of April 2011 at the Pristina Municipal Court.
