EULEX judges and prosecutors support law students

24 September 2012

The EULEX Mission is supporting the University of Pristina’s Faculty of Law with the setting up of a simulated or ‘mock’ trial. Students have now been selected for the one-day intensive ‘class’.

The trial will help students learn about the practices and procedures of conducting a fair trial using the applicable laws. The trial will be taught and facilitated by EULEX judges and prosecutors: including senior judges and prosecutors.

The students will be rewarded with an attendance certificate signed by EULEX judges and the Faculty of Law and some students will gain credits towards their degree. The event is also being supported by the French Embassy. The event will take place in October on the university’s premises.
