EULEX experts were part of the official working group which was authorized by a government decision made by Minister of Internal Affair to review the Standard Operational Procedures for the National Centre Border Management. The revised draft of the SOP was finalized in a workshop that took place last week in Prizren and was attended by EULEX experts Alan Wilson and Giuseppe Colasanto.

The NCBM will serve as national contact point for real-time exchange of information between all authorities involved in IBM. It facilitates the collecting, analysing and disseminating of information, and supports cross-border and regional - international cooperation in line with regional and international agreements.

The NCBM is one of the most important benchmarks in the road-map for Visa liberalization.
